S.D. SHARMA AND ASSOCIATES was founded in 1980. The company now has many senior Architects, Structural Engineers, Civil Engineer, Estimators and other technical staff which has built a name as one of the leading consulting companies of the region.
In just 60 years the company has risen to providing multifarious consultancy and project management jobs. To its credit many prestigious Hospitals, Institutional buildings, Auditoriums, Housings, Trade centers and Advanced Technical buildings like Animal Houses, Pilot Plant, Roadways, Workshops for various services including highly advanced cold rooms and hospitals and mortuaries etc. have been designed providing total consultancy services of architecture, structure etc. all under one roof
We have been rendering our services to major projects with prestigious Government organizations like CSIR, ISRO, SGPGI-Lucknow, NBCC, PGIMER-Chandigarh, IHBT-Palampur, ITDC, NCPGR (JNU University)- New Delhi, NIPER-Mohali, HSIDC, HFC, DLF, IMTECH-Chandigarh, HUDA & as an advisor to the Chandigarh Administration and Abuja – Nigeria.
Our Founder
Shivdatt Sharma
S.D.Sharma, who has been associated with ‘Chandigarh Project’ since the inception of the city from 1952 onwards. He has worked with world famous Architects Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanerette who were the architects of the Chandigarh project. Mr. Sharma was Chief Architect, Deptt. of Space, Government of India (I.S.R.O.), Bangalore from 1972 to 1979.
Besides other National awards, the Principal of the firm Ar. S.D. Sharma was awarded the Highest Honor of lifetime contribution in the field of Architecture ‘IIA Baburao Mhatre Gold Medal 2001’. Many other prestigious awards are also associated with the firm.
